photographing trains

beneath all the glitz
and her pretty spanish eyes --
pain shrouded by a smile

heart breaks listening
to silent screams deep within
a turbulent mind

and the heavens cried
for the weary wanderer --
rain to quench the thirst

his beloved gone
he sinks to the bottom of
the ocean of tears
